Stomach disorder is also called gastric disorders. They are the most common type of disorder in the world.
The stomach is the most important part of the body that digests the food we eat. If the stomach is disturbed, we will be uncomfortable. When a person suffers from a problem of the stomach, it is called stomach disorder. Indigestion and heartburn are the most common occurring stomach disorders.

Here are some of the stomach disorders:
Indigestion: Every human being suffers from indigestion. Indigestion is commonly known as stomach upset or dyspepsia.
Indigestion is caused by food intolerance, ulcers, heartburn, bloating and excess eating while nausea, loss of appetite and vomiting are common occurring symptoms of indigestion.

Diarrhea: Diarrhea is the watery stools that occur more than thrice in a day. It is a very common problem that lasts for a day or two.
The causes are food poisoning, excessive intake of food, over-consumption of alcohol, emotional stress and tension and in rare instances by the intake of antibiotics.


Heartburn: Heartburn is also one of the most frequently occurring stomach disorder. Many people suffer from heartburn as the name suggest. It is the burning sensation in the lower part of the heart and upper part of the stomach.
Heartburn is caused by stomach acid that washed up into the esophagus. The heart is found to be felt more when lying down or bending down. The symptoms are abdominal pains, abdominal cramps, watery stools, or frequent passing of loose.

Ulcers: Ulcers are caused by the destruction of the gastric or intestinal mucosal lining of the stomach by hydrochloric acid.
There are two types of ulcers namely duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer. Duodenal ulcer affects the upper part of the stomach that is small intestine while gastric ulcer affects the upper and lowermost part of the stomach that is large intestine.
Symptoms of ulcer are burning or gnawing feeling in the stomach area.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: is caused when the level of the hormone gastrin is increased and result in the production of more hydrochloric acid. The disorder leads to the formation of tumors in the pancreas and duodenum and ulcers in the stomach and duodenum. These tumors secrete large amounts of a hormone that causes excessive production of acid by your stomach.
