Heart disease is commonly found with aged people. But its
influence begins during the earlier part of life itself. Cholesterol is a
substance involved in metabolism and also essential for maintaining
permeability and fluidity of cell membranes. Even also mother’s breast milk
contains a substantial amount of cholesterol.
Cholesterol is present in varying degrees in all foods
containing animal fat. But plant base foods do not contain cholesterol, unless
it is added during preparation. In essence, saturated fats and trans-fats that
is added when preparing a meal play a much larger role in increasing blood
cholesterol.
In the recent analysis it is found that the younger
generations were not fully responsible for the change in dietary activities. But
as the world changed its pace, the life started to depend on cheap stuff food
items. Such as baked products like pizzas, chips and icy items which causes the
unusual formation of fats and affects the health of the young ones.
To address this problem, we just need some little changes
such as a healthy and balance diet along with regular exercise. It is not a
matter of substituting margarine with butter, or consuming meals prepared in
olive oil or coconut oil. Our body requires a balanced diet that includes the
right proportions of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
The idea is to avoid bad fats and trans-fats at all costs,
saturated fats too lead to high cholesterol, but natural, unprocessed fats do
not cause harm if consumed in moderate quantities. Performing physical activity
along with the change in the food habit should be the change made in the
younger generation. In the earlier day’s children have the habit of involving
themselves in some sporting activities.
And also it is very important to change the balanced diet
and performing more functions for at least 15mins in order to bring down the
cholesterol level in the body.
